My Japanese Lesson

I fell in love with Japanese culture when I watched Japanese Dorama (Drama) long time ago. Tokyo Love Story, Ordinary People and many more.
I like the body language and the culture, and then I decided to learn Japanese. But, I really don’t like to attend any courses. It’s like ehmm..sitting in a class for a few hours and listening to the teacher can be a torture time for me. Maybe I will enjoy it for a few weeks or months (ok, let say for 3 months that I can bear– that’s the maximum), but for years? I am afraid the classmates are not equal to me? I once attended a certain course; some of them were so slow to catch the lesson, so the teacher had to repeat again and again for a few weeks to them. It’s quite a wasting time for me. And the other time at another course, the classmates were very good, they had their basic course before (I was trying some different classes to test my level). So I was left behind and the teacher didn’t pay much attention to new students, she/he just taught and left. So, that’s why I hate being in a class. The other reason is time; I am so busy at work and so hard to find a perfect time for me after office hour. Therefore, I decided to do a self-learning at my own time and my own private room. BUT, there is a big problem here! Motivation! Yeah! I have to motivate myself every day to finish my goal. So, that’s why I wrote this blog to remind myself of what I’m doing, where did I start, and how is the progress. Sou nee(well), Majimeni (be serious), Alice!

Ganbatte, Alice!

I know some Japanese phrases, expressions, simple sentences, simple greetings and some vocabularies. I learnt those thru internet from many sources. But I know that’s not enough. I still have to learn sooo many things…

Kawatta koto aru? (what’s new)

Mochiron (sure)! This time I will learn Japanese writing, Hiragana and Katakana! Forget the kanji thing, first! So I am able to write or understand basic Japanese writing and pronunciation when it’s written in Hiragana and Katakana.
